From the OSINT 1 task, we know that we are looking for the location of Cole Minerton's residence. We also know from OSINT 1 that Cole's profiles on different websites can be found here:
We also joined his Discord server using the following link found on his YouTube channel:
So let's start searching. On the Mastodon Cole's profile, we can find some pictures. Two photos are from the slopes in Angel Fire and one is from the petrol station, but we do not know where was taken. The conversation on Discord shows that Cole is going on a long trip to Telluride:
The photo containing the petrol station was taken on the day of his departure to Telluride. We can therefore assume that the petrol station is located in his place of residence:
Let's take a closer look at it. I cropped the photo to make it better see the details:
From the details in the photo, we know that the petrol station that we are looking for is located near Cimmaron Ave. And that's the only thing I was sure of.
In the photo, there is a poster informing about a lottery called New Mexico Lottery. We could assume that this station is located in the New Mexico state. The photo also contains the Bradley logo, which is a petroleum company, which also owns petroleum stations. The last logo which is Sav-o-Mat is also a brand of fuel stations.
The searching results for Sav-o-Mat petrol station search results led me to the following webpage:
The map on this page shows that this station is located next to Cimarron Avenue:
By visiting the found place using Google Street View, we can confirm that the photo was taken at this particular station:
The type of petrol pump is the same, and the STOP sign and the street name on the sign also match, so we found where Cole lives.
